For a refreshing drinking experience. Use our Active filter cartridge not only to enhance the taste of your drinking water, but also to reduce pollutants that our tap water often contains.

Inside the cartridge is a sintered activated carbon core, which is able to filter out chlorine, organic pollutants, various pharmaceutical residues, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, aromas and fine particles (rust, lime flakes, sand). In addition, bland and chlorinated taste impairments in the water are effectively neutralized.

Thanks to the activated carbon, the ALB ACTIVE filters odor, taste and color changes in the water. It can also reduce pharmaceutical residues and related pollutants as well as chlorine and fluorides. For comparison: the inner surface area of four grams of activated charcoal is sometimes equivalent to the surface area of a soccer pitch and therefore has a very large absorption surface to bind pollutants from your water.

The ideal solution for your drinking water treatment. Normal bulk activated carbon, which is often found in comparable water filters, does not provide sufficient protection against pollutants, germs and bacteria. This is why we use a pressed activated carbon monoblock with a fineness of 10 µm in Alb filters. This creates a filter surface area equivalent to that of a soccer field.
