Water Filter Cartridges

There are a few things to consider when choosing the right filter cartridge for the water filter. For camping, the Active and Nano cartridges can be used, which have different performance characteristics. If you want to combine the power of both cartridges, this is possible with the Fusion or Pro Camper set.

  • ACTIVE – Reduces bad taste and pollutants

    Use our Active filter cartridge not only to enhance the taste of your drinking water, but also to reduce pollutants that our tap water often contains.

    Inside the cartridge is a sintered activated carbon core, which is able to filter out chlorine, organic pollutants, various pharmaceutical residues, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, aromas and fine particles (rust, lime flakes, sand).

    In addition, bland and chlorinated taste impairments in the water are effectively neutralized.

  • NANO – Protection against microorganisms

    The Nano provides effective protection against harmful microorganisms in drinking water.
    The Nano also offers a high level of protection against unclean water when traveling.

    Mainly used for bacterial and viral contamination in water with the highest demands on the material and quality of the 0.1 µm hollow fiber membrane.

Removal of bad taste and odors

High-quality Alb Filter coconut block activated carbon adsorbs unpleasant odors (chlorine, CHCs, CFCs, etc.) and impairs the taste of drinking water.

Reduction of heavy metals

The adsorbing effect of activated carbon binds heavy metals such as lead and copper in drinking water.

Filtration of microplastics

The ultra-fine structure of the sintered activated carbon reliably retains microscopic plastic particles.

NANO Cartridge

Filtration of the smallest microorganisms

Nano focuses on the filtration of germs and bacteria in high concentrations, e.g. E-Coli, Vibrio Cholarae, Shigella, Salmonella.

High-performance membranes

Suitable bundling of hollow fibers results in a flow rate of up to 11 litres/min.

High filter capacity

When the Nano cartridge is used in optically clear water with simultaneous contamination with bacteria and germs, the Nano has an extremely long service life.

Reduces turbidity in the water

Reduces water haze and phytoplankton by retaining them in the membrane.

Maximum safety

Automatic visible reduction of the water flow when the Nano cartridge is exhausted.

Filter performance

  • Active

    The Active Filter has a large filter capacity but requires a line pressure of at least 1 bar.

Cartridge lifespan

The filter cartridges should be replaced at intervals between 4-6 months to prevent bacterial growth and maintain optimum filter performance.

Replacing the cartridge

Changing the cartridge is easy: unscrew, remove the old cartridge, insert the new one and you're done.
